Membership Application
Applications for membership shall be in submitted in writing to the Membership Committee and reviewed by the Board of Directors for approval.
Any active, retired employee of the Honolulu Police Department, officers and civilians, prior employees, family members and friends of Law Enforcement are eligible to become a member.
Section 2: Regular Members
Any regular salaried employee of the Honolulu Police Department. To include all retirees and individuals who were once a regular salaried employees but left the department prior to attaining retirement status.
Section 3: Honorary Members
All sworn Honolulu Police Department Chiefs shall be accepted as members of the Association and shall be exempt from paying dues. They shall enjoy all the privileges of the club, with the exception of holding office and voting.
Section 4: Associate Members
a. Any spouse or family members of an active or of a deceased member of the club, upon approval by the Board of Directors, may become an [active] associate member of the club. They shall pay the regular dues and shall enjoy all of the privileges of the club, excluding voting privileges.
b. Any person deemed a “friend of law enforcement”, upon approval by the Board of Directors, may become an Associate Member of the Club. They shall pay the regular dues and enjoy the privileges of the club, excluding voting privileges.
Please fill out the membership application form with all of the necessary information. Spouses, friends, family, etc., must fill out an individual application for each membership. Annual membership renewal is done in January of every year. Annual membership dues are fifteen dollars ($15.00) per Regular Member/Associate. Membership fees for new members applying after January of this year are not prorated. If you are renewing your membership, please update your information if there is a change of address, phone, email, etc. before submitting. Applications, written correspondence & questions should be directed to Alice Ome (Secretary) at the address listed below. Once downloaded you can print the application for mailing.
